Jessi Sampson, OD

Dr. Jessi Sampson, O.D. is a licensed optometrist and the founder of Sampson Eye Care, proudly serving the community she calls home. Raised in Braxton County, Dr. Sampson has a deep-rooted commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality eye care to the region that shaped her.

She completed her undergraduate education at West Virginia University before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Kentucky College of Optometry. Through extensive clinical training, Dr. Sampson developed expertise in comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens care, and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease.

Dr. Sampson practices full-scope optometry, including medical eye care and minor surgical procedures. She is passionate about using modern technology and evidence-based medicine to deliver thorough, personalized care while taking the time to educate patients and answer questions.

At Sampson Eye Care, Dr. Sampson strives to create a welcoming, comfortable environment where patients feel heard and confident in their care. Whether managing eye health conditions, fitting contact lenses, or performing routine exams, her approach is thoughtful, detailed, and tailored to each patient’s lifestyle and visual needs.

Outside the office, Dr. Sampson enjoys spending time with her family and staying connected to her local community. She is honored to bring comprehensive, patient-centered eye care back to Braxton County and looks forward to serving generations of families for years to come.
